Come out to Mellon Lunch Series for another great afternoon with Joe Matzzie. Joe is an award-winning songwriter as well as an accomplished guitarist and singer. He was named Best Male Artist in the 2021 International Acoustic Music Awards for the song Home. Join us for Make Music Pittsburgh at the Schenley Park Visitor Center and the Schenley Tent for a day of fun and live performances celebrating Pittsburgh’s rich musical community. This family-friendly event will feature performances organized by Azure Family Concerts, Center of Life, Pittsburgh Festival Opera, and Calliope and will take place across Schenley Plaza 12-9pm and the SPVC 11-3pm. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair and spend the day in the heart of Oakland as Pittsburgh makes music!
12-8pm The Farina Foundation "Play It Forward" Instrument donation drive. We will have a table at the Plaza for anyone to donate an instrument for a kid in need.

Celebrate Music, Music Making and How Great Music Is! Celebrate with the world on Make Music Day June 21st. Come out Pittsburgh's and support local musicians. The VA Veterans Hospital of Oakland has been super nice to host an afternoon event for the Veterans and Fathers on Father''s Day. Veteran Patrick Hodges on Guitar at 12:00 and Steel City Ukulele's until 2pm. Also @brightonmusiccenter and @farinafdn will be donation over 12 acoustic guitars to the Hospital for any Vet or patient that would be enriched by music!
