I stopped expecting life to go the way I planned.
I never dreamed of founding @makemyday.xp
I never dreamed of moving to Barcelona.
And opening a “Splatter Room”? Definitely not on my list.

But they say life is what happens while we’re busy making plans 😂
And @borntocolor is exactly that, one of the most colorful, fun, and wild surprises life has ever brought me. 🎨

One day I’ll tell the full story.
For now, let’s just say; together with @eatpraylovetheworld we took a brave, different path inside Casa Panot.
We created a space where anyone, from 7 to 70, can laugh, dance, and express themselves freely 🙆🏻‍♀️ no perfection needed, just pure joy.

Bazı günlerin, dönemlerin hayalini çok kuruyoruz. Peki o gün geldiğinde, o hayal gerçekten gerçekleştiğinde, orada olabiliyor muyuz?
Son aylarda en büyük çabam tam olarak bu: burada olmak.
Kaydırdığınız renkli etkinlik fotoğrafları son iki ait; aslında da son üç yılımın gecesi, gündüzü, emeği, cesareti. Ekiplerimin, birlikte çalıştıklarımın çok büyük emeği. İki şehir arasında var olma çabası, defalarca yeniden başlama, vazgeçmeme ve kafama koyduğumu yapma deliliği.
Fark ettim ki kutlamaya, durmaya ve olanı görmeye pek alışık değilim. Aklım çoğu zaman hemen bir sonraki hedefte.
“E peki şimdi sırada ne var?”
Hergün kendime tekrar hatırlatıyorum: Yaptığım kadarı yeterli. Bunun biraz tadını çıkarabilirim ♥️

We spend so much time dreaming about certain seasons of our lives. But when that day finally comes, when the dream becomes reality, are we actually able to be present for it?
Lately, my biggest challenge has been exactly that: being here.
The colorful event photos you’re scrolling through were taken over the last two months, but they actually represent the days, nights, hard work, courage, and persistence of the past three years. None of it would have been possible without my incredible teams and the amazing people I’ve had the chance to work with.
It’s the story of trying to build a life between two cities, starting over again and again, refusing to give up, and being just crazy enough to chase what I set my mind to.
I’ve realized that I’m not very good at celebrating, slowing down or truly seeing what’s already here. My mind is usually one step ahead. “So… what’s next?”
Every day, I remind myself: What I’ve done is enough & I’m allowed to enjoy this a little ♥️ by @makemydaytr

Burada kim sorsa hep söylerim: Dünyanın en güzel şehri İstanbul♥️
İçindeyken kaçmak istediğin, uzaktayken özlediğin. Görür görmez her seferinde yeniden aşık olduğun ama her köşesinde seni bu aşktan bezdiren bir kaosun olduğu. En güzel günlerini yaşadığım için şükrettiren gelecek için umutsuzluğa düşüren, o tüm duyguları aynı anda yaşatan bir şehir🥹

Whenever anyone asks me, I always say the same thing: Istanbul is the most beautiful city in the world. ♥️
It’s the kind of place that makes you want to leave when you’re in it, but miss it the moment you’re away. A city you fall in love with all over again every time you see it, yet one that somehow exhausts you with the chaos hidden around every corner.
It’s the city where I’ve lived some of my happiest moments, at times, makes me feel hopeless about the future. A place that somehow makes you feel every emotion all at once. 🥹
