We’re so excited to share our August – December 2025 recap video, and wow… what a semester it was! 🎥✨

From supporting over 7 Partner Schools with staff appreciation events, Fun Fridays, wish list fulfillment, and school supplies, to spreading joy through Project Hope for the Holidays and so much more — every moment was a reminder of WHY we do this work. 🤗🤍

None of this happens without our amazing partners, volunteers, donors, and community champions. THANK YOU for making it all possible. 💙

By the end of the 2024-2025 school year, the Positive Movement Foundation proudly partnered with 8 schools—including 4 elementary schools, 3 middle schools, and multiple Juvenile Court & Community School campuses.
This video offers a glimpse into our impact at Lemon Grove Academy, one of our incredible partner schools. We invite you to be part of our mission—through volunteering, services, or financial support—as together we create positive movement and empower the next generation of leaders.

You helped us hit our goal — and now the real work begins!
We’re excited to announce that the search for our next round of partner schools is underway. Over the next two months, we’ll be evaluating more than 20 schools to select:
4 new partner schools, each receiving a minimum two-year commitment and approximately $45,000 per year.
10 additional schools that will receive one-time funding support.

Swipe right to see the next steps and the budget allocated for each school.

If you know of a school that fits our criteria and could benefit tremendously from a partnership with us, please have them reach out ASAP!

✨ Smiles for Miles is back! ✨

Our first event of the year was this past Saturday, Sept 12th — and it was a big one! Five partner schools selected 75 families for a special back-to-school shopping trip for clothes and important home supplies. 🎒👕

Every year, we take over 100 kids and families shopping to give them a normal, confident start to the school year. 💛

And we’re not done yet — this Saturday we’re doing it all again for 30 more families from two more schools! 🙌

Stay tuned for more smiles. 😊

Every year, our President leads an orientation designed to help school staff and teachers set personal goals around finance, relationships, and leisure.

The day is paired with team-building exercises that bring out joy and fun, and it’s meant to be dedicated time for staff to map out one-year personal goals aligned with the school year calendar — much like teachers craft curriculums for their students, they’re invited to bring that same intentionality to investing in their own lives.

The orientation also includes team-building games tied to classroom wishlists and resource allocations, along with mindfulness and meditation practices.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to our incredible Amalfi Affair charity gala sponsors. ❤️

Your generosity, belief in our mission, and commitment to giving back helped make this evening possible. Because of your support, we were able to come together for something bigger than ourselves — to create meaningful change and make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.

Thank you for believing, giving, and helping us make an impact. We couldn’t have done it without you. ✨

With gratitude,
The Positive Movement Foundation

Our president, Omid Sabet, recently had the opportunity to sit down with Roy Robertson of Good Business San Diego on KUSI-TV to share the story of the Positive Movement Foundation—how we started, how we’ve grown, and the impact we’re making in schools and communities across San Diego County.

A special thank you to @Wellgreenscares & @kusinewsr for providing a platform to share our story and for Well greens continued support of our work and the youth we serve.

Together, we can build stronger school communities, and help our children and youth reach their full potential. #positivemovementfoundation #sandiego #forthekids #community taken in San Diego, California by @makepositivemvmnt
