Want to get into woodworking, but not sure where to start? This residency is designed for those that are completely new to woodworking and are interested in learning to use all of the tools that we have available in the WoodLab.⁠

This 2 month residency is subsidized and includes five classes, extended membership access, studio space, support and community. During this time you will learn how to make a side table with a sliding drawer out of hardwood. ⁠

Our Tools for Change residency focuses on empowering women and nonbinary people to use the tools at MakerLabs in a comfortable and supportive environment to make almost anything. ⁠
