👋🏽 Hi! I'm Ronee, the person behind MAKE ROOM. It is an absolute honor that you would spend some of your time with me.

Over the last several years, I've felt a nudge to write. The list of writing ideas in my phone is a mile long, but I wasn't sure how those ideas would come to light. Recently, the Lord told me really clearly that it's time to share my heart with you. We're going to dive deep into Christian spirituality with the goal of knowing God more and learning to be with Him through practicing the Presence in a countercultural way.

I'm so excited you're along for the journey. Please pray for me. It's starting to feel pretty vulnerable to have such personal things I've been learning with the Lord out in the wild. My hope with this blog is not to go viral or become famous. I'm simply being obedient and hope to glorify God.

May MAKE ROOM be encouraging to you on your journey with Jesus. He is the treasure. He is the prize. 💎

Not to try harder or measure more closely
but to return.

To presence.
To abiding.
To being with God again.

The way of Jesus has always moved in this direction: be, do, have. Not as a formula to master but as a way to return to what’s true.

Presence before effort.
Abiding before outcomes.
Being before doing.

When our inner life is rooted in Christ,
obedience no longer feels urgent or heavy.

It becomes steadier, more discerning and less reactive.

Faithfulness grows best when it flows from presence,
not pressure.

We want outcomes before we’ve learned to abide.
We want peace before we’ve released control.

But growth in God’s kingdom often happens quietly, long before it’s obvious.

🚨Challenge Alert 🚨

Are you more in love with Jesus than when you met Him? Is that love actively growing?
If not, why not?

In any relationship, how do you grow in appreciation or love for someone? By spending time with them. By getting to know them.

🤔 When was the last time you sat with God with only the agenda to know Him more?

⏰ Take one hour today or tomorrow and spend it unplanned with Jesus. No excuses. No screens. Just you and Him!

I can almost guarantee your love for Him will grow and that the result will be renewed obedience from a pure heart and motive! 🤍

Today, you don’t have to prove devotion by moving faster or carrying more or doing one more thing for God.

Doing is not the problem.

Scripture never dismisses obedience or action, but it calls us to notice why we do what we do.

When doing is disconnected from being, it becomes striving.
When doing flows from love, it becomes surrender.

A new reflection is live — not about doing more but about doing differently.

The question isn’t IF we are being formed, it’s WHAT are we being formed by?

This brings us back to the heart of it.
Not what needs to be fixed.
Not what needs to be achieved.

But who we are becoming as we walk with God.
