You may have noticed we’ve been a little MIA lately — that’s because we’ve been working hard behind the scenes on some big transitions! One of the biggest? @ambarco_llc and I have poured endless love and effort into bringing new life to the Atx Artist Social — even though it wasn’t originally ours.
Now, we’re excited to share that we are officially rebranding and returning the Atx Artist Social name back to its original owner.

A LOT CLOSER is a group exhibition of works by Contracommon members, on view at 2324 Studios ATX from Sept. 21–Oct. 29. There will be an opening reception on Sept. 21 and a closing reception Panel on Oct. 19. Both events are open to the public.

Pull up and step into the world of "SneakArt" at @2324atx Thursday Aug 17th 6-9pm curated @Tobartakeover & @AtxArtistSocial. This exclusive sneaker art show is a celebration of the sole of sneaker culture and the inspiration it provides. Immerse yourself in a dynamic exhibition showcasing custom sneakers, paintings of sneakers, and fashion creations influenced by this vibrant culture.

Prepare to witness the fusion of art and fashion as talented artists pay tribute to the cultural significance of these coveted footwear icons. Each brushstroke captures the energy and influence that sneakers have on our personal style and broader society.

We are excited to announce our collaboration with @AlmostRealThings, featuring the ART Ahead mentorship program launched in 2022. This initiative aims to empower emerging artists by offering them guidance, resources, and opportunities to advance their creative careers. In April 2023, four talented artists had the privilege of working alongside ART and mentors Cody Blazek and Erik Ross for the Coca-Cola Creations' "Move" Campaign. They participated in crash courses on product design, corporate client collaboration, and brought to life their artistic vision by customizing two pairs of Nike Dunks. The artists seamlessly blended their unique styles with the transformative theme, resulting in a avant-garde pair and a wearable pair of Dunks.
