POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

@phillymag let me dive down a rabbit hole searching for "Carey Dupont." It only took three days of the article being live for Spotify to finally discover my unanswered takedown notices, but don't worry, I kept the receipts. Link to the story in our bio.

Meet the musicians! Saturday!! — Makeshift Hammer (formerly Driftwood Soldier) makes gutter-folk music, a blend of bittersweet ballads, crooked stories, and thumping blue rants on mandolin, bass guitar, and junk drums described by WXPN as "a bluesy version of Nick Cave with a nod to Tom Waits."

MAKESHIFT QUEEN OF SUMMONING HAMMERS tour is complete. Honest to gods - what a joy to play music with @thebanditqueenofsorrows and @summoning.circle even if the short run was cut shorter.

Here's a few shots. Shout-out to @milkdudmusicphl who joined us at @upstairsabyss (#6) and @rat.banjo (#10) @lucyandthegooses (#12) in Akron. Also to @ariel_adulting for capturing Jack sitting in on our @houseofjenk closer (#9).

Please also try to enjoy these pierogis, buffet soft serve, and tacos as much as Bobby did.

We've got another HOT one Thursday helping the @the_tisburys kick off their weekend residency at the rejuvenated @thegrapephl. Join us! by @makeshifthammer

NYC-Philly-Bmore-Lancaster-DC if you wanna print out and put up a few flyers for next week's shows with @thebanditqueenofsorrows and @summoning.circle just get in touch!

For the last couple years I've been drawing all our posters in sharpie on copy paper so that they're cheap and easy to print.

I'll send a PDF version of the flyer to anyone who asks. If you put up a bunch of them, I'll also happily put you on the guest list for the show.

Either way, come out to these shows next week!!!
Gonna be great music in cozy rooms.

There's still time for all of you to sing on our next record!

We're pushing the deadline for you to get us recordings of YOU singing the chorus of 'Black Bandana' back to this Sunday (9/6).

The link in the bio has the rough mix you can sing along with, the lyrics, and more info.

Doesn't have to be fancy, just get it done!
