The Yundastologist returns from the Time Flux of the future in his latest freestyle mixtape, TimeWarp! ⏳🧪

Artwork by the legendary Kush Cabin, creator of CryptoBlunts NFTs 🚬🧹

Free download link on my soundcloud.com/makesomethin, and for the first time ever I have uploaded the entire tape for you to listen to on soundcloud! Link in bio, I usually just put up a handful of tracks to encourage the download of the full project, but in this streaming culture I recognize its not sustainable. You should still download it though for the bonus track, alternate artworks and other easter eggs 😈

This marks the third release on leap year day since 2016, celebrating 8 years of Yundastologist lore. Time Flux was the second project, and The Yundastologist the first. (Both available to download on my soundcloud) The paradox of time and space that is the leap year day has always been an interesting concept, what if in the future we need to add another day to the calender? Why February? An extra day to earn more experience points on this quest of life.

The Yundastologist is my freestyle character or persona, who is basically a mad scientist always working on some kind of potion. This concept was really brought to life on the first Yundastologist mixtape that @computercamo shot the cover for. The pixel version you see in my pfp was created as a branding in the nft space, and birthed a small collection of different versions.

These freestyle projects are so fun to make, probably more fun than a written album cause i can just be myself in a different way. All of the songs were recorded in 2023, right off the top from whatever was inspiring me in that moment.

Today marks the passing of a year of not smoking weed. It’s been a challenge, and i always felt like weed sped life up, but it still moves just as fast. That year went by in a blink. I was hoping to find more time to be creative, and wanted to just be present in life and make sure i was going in the right direction. That mostly did happen, but i feel like i didnt get as much done creatively as i had intended. I guess i just really needed a break. Working in the industry, growing weed for a living is a fun job, but doesnt help the constant desire to try the fruits of our labor. Work also consumes me, but i think i let it more than it should. What i did learn in the past year, is not to be so hard on yourself, and just live and do whatever you want. Im still honestly figuring that out. Its ok to just play video games, read books, and go to yugioh tournaments lol. Doing all of that while high sounds hella fun too, but its like eating food with too much salt, you get too used to that extra seasoning. This experience obviously wont apply to everyone, and not everyone feels the pressure to continue on the path of being creative and making art and music or whatever it is that inspires you. Dont let that flame go out, its hard to respark. So that being said, i think its time to spark up lol by @makesomethin
