A moment of stillness…

tucked quietly within the home

The dark veins of the stone echoed softly in the walls

There’s a different kind of presence here once the sun goes down.

The light softens.
The textures deepen.
And the home takes on a quiet confidence that’s hard to describe but easy to feel.

This was never just about building something that looks good.
It was about creating a place that feels right… at every hour of the day.

Both residences have now been sold and as finalists for urban developer best small scale development nationally

A reflection of what happens when design, detail and intent come together in the right way.

A home you don’t just see…
you connect with.

From the first moment you arrive, there’s a sense that everything has been carefully considered, how the light moves, how the spaces flow, how it all comes together to shape the way you live.

It’s subtle. It’s intentional.
And it’s what people remember long after they’ve walked through.

Both residences are now sold.

Grateful to have created something that resonated so deeply and excited for what’s ahead.

The bathroom shouldn't feel like an afterthought.

At Peridot Place, we wanted the bathroom to feel more like a private retreat.

Tundra Grey marble, warm walnut joinery and brushed nickel tapware create a calm, restrained palette.

Even the lighting was considered. A wall light beside the mirror provides softer light for getting ready, while creating a warm ambient glow when you want the bathroom to feel a little more like a spa.

Because the rooms you use every day should still feel special.

Sometimes luxury is simply creating a moment to slow down.

A home should change the way you feel when you walk through the door.

At Peridot Place, the living spaces were designed to feel calm, light and generous. A place to genuinely switch off at the end of the day.

Natural light, warm finishes and a fireplace at the heart of the room all play their part.

Nothing needs to shout.

Sometimes good design is simply how a room makes you feel.

What makes a home feel like home to you?

There’s a lot that happens between the first line drawn and the final door opening.

Frames go up. Spaces begin to take shape. Details are considered, refined and brought together, until what once existed only on paper becomes something real.

A look back at the making of Peridot Place.
Considered residences in the heart of Croydon.

You might not be able to put your finger on it. But you feel it.

That was always the idea behind Peridot Place.

Not one statement feature, but a collection of considered decisions that come together to make these homes feel different.

The scale of the windows. The warmth of European oak. Tundra marble. Walnut joinery. The curve of an island. A gas fireplace at the heart of the living space. Integrated appliances that simply disappear.

Even the things you don’t immediately see; solar, EV charging and double glazing were considered as part of how these homes would actually be lived in.

And beyond the front door, Main Street, cafés, shopping and Croydon Station are all within walking distance.

The details matter. But it’s how they all come together that creates the feeling of home.

What’s one detail you wish more new homes came with as standard?

A kitchen doesn't feel luxurious because of what you can see.

It feels luxurious because of what you don't.

At Peridot Place, every home includes an integrated fridge and dishwasher, hidden behind matching cabinetry.

The result is a calmer, more considered space where your eye is drawn to the architecture. Not the appliances.

It's a small decision.

But it's one you'll appreciate every morning.

Because thoughtful design isn't about adding more.

It's about removing distractions.

Would integrated appliances be on your wish list for your next home?

The best part of this home isn’t actually the home.

One of the first owners at Peridot Place told us they chose this address because of its location.

Not because of the kitchen.

Not because of the finishes.

Because they could walk to Main Street Croydon, grab a coffee, catch the train, meet friends for dinner and leave the car at home more often.

That confirmed something we’d believed from the beginning.

A beautiful home becomes even more valuable when everyday life becomes easier.

Sometimes the best feature isn’t inside the front door.

Would being able to walk everywhere change the way you live?

Maybe the real luxury is needing the car a little less.
