Today I had the pleasure of working with Linda McMahon -U.S. Secretary of Education, businesswoman, and former CEO of WWE.

It was an honor for me to be trusted with her makeup, and I’m truly grateful for this experience.

I felt a strong sense of pride working on this look. Every client carries their own importance, and moments like this simply remind me why I love my work so much.

What made this experience even more special was knowing that she truly loved the makeup and felt beautiful, confident, and happy with her look. That means everything to me as an artist.

Beyond the work itself, I was touched by how warm and pleasant she is. Meeting someone with such an impressive career and seeing how natural and easy she is in communication is truly inspiring.

I am deeply grateful for this opportunity and for every meaningful moment in my professional journey.

* Being a makeup artist means working not just with a face, but with each person’s unique beauty.
* It means working with dozens of different faces, different skin types, and different personalities - and finding the right approach for each person.
* It’s a profession where you can never stop learning and improving.
* Sometimes it means 5 a.m., a suitcase full of makeup, and hours on your feet. But then you see your client’s smile - and you remember why you do it.
* Being a makeup artist isn’t just about making someone look “beautiful.” It’s about understanding what looks beautiful on that person.
* It’s a profession where you see the result right away -and there are no filters to hide behind.

13 years in the industry -and I’m still learning.

I’m always looking for artists who inspire me and from whom I can learn something new. If that means traveling to another city, I go.

For me, growth is part of the job. I want to keep updating my skills, techniques, and understanding of current trends so my clients can always receive fresh, modern, high-quality results.

Austin and Sadie got married in Charleston this spring, and the whole day had that unmistakable Lowcountry feel. Their first look started the day off right, all nerves and happy tears before either of them could say a word.⁠

There’s something so special about being invited into one of the most important mornings of someone’s life. 🤍

I traveled from Lincoln to Charleston to be part of this beautiful bride’s wedding day, and I’m so grateful for the trust behind moments like these.

For me, bridal makeup is never just about makeup.
