Skin prep is truly the most important part to a FLAWLESS finish. Now, yes it has a lot to do with day of skin prep HOWEVER as a bride you need to do most of the work before your big day….

What does this look like?

A. At home skin routine is truly going to shape what your skin will look like day of. Making sure that you are washing your face properly, hydrating the skin with all the right products for your skin type, and using sunscreen EVERYDAY (even in the winter).

B. Seeing an aesthetician (If your budget allows).
Now it is not mandatory to get facials, but it does make a HUGE difference leading up to the day of. Having a professional hand pick products as well as provide services that are going to give you a flawless and glowy base truly is key. (Example: dermaplaning & microneedling) I am NOT an aesthetician but I’m happy to recommend some! 😌

🚨 YOUR MAKEUP WILL ONLY BE AS FLAWLESS AS YOUR BASE 🚨

I know we all say we drink a lot of water but let’s be for real no we don’t 🫣 Drinking 2-3 bottles a day is not enough and the coffee is just not cutting it!

How much water should I be drinking Ambar?
Well it is said to estimate how much water you should drink each day, divide your weight in pounds by two.
(Example: If you weigh 150 pounds, aim to drink 75 ounces of water a day) that’s about 5 bottles of Poland spring💧

Hydration will help the skin be nice and plump for your day of!

Bridal Trials are not mandatory however to have a seamless experience day of I truly recommend it. A trial is not only to see what your makeup will look like day of, but also a time to get to know your makeup artist. I always tell my brides that my version of soft glam can be very different to your version of soft glam. Especially If you are someone who may not be familiar with makeup it really gives you an idea of what you may or may not like on yourself! It also really helps with timing day of so there are no unanswered questions! 💄
