It’s my 20th Anniversary!!!! It was actually my 20th anniversary the second week of October but life happens. I was far too deep in wedding season to post about it.

What I mean when I say my 20th anniversary….
I’ve been officially doing Makeup as a working makeup artist for 20 years. I do not count the day I started playing with a caboodle kit on the bed with a friend. I am talking about the first day. I started getting paid as an artist to do what I love.
A lot of people can’t say that they’ve spent two decades doing something that they love. I fortunately can.
I am here by choice. I choose this every day and I will choose this every day until I can’t do this job anymore.
As most of you probably know I’m completely obsessed with my job, Makeup Artistry, and making other women feel like the most beautiful version of themselves. There is such a deep meaning in what I do, which is why I continue to do it.
The little moments I cherish. Seeing my clients face light up after I give them the mirror. To have any kind of positive impact on any human being is so powerful. I cherish the big moments too. The crazy wedding days. The busyness and the hustle of this job. It keeps me on my toes and keeps me driven as an artist and as a human. We all need a reason to get up in the morning.

Doing makeup has been completely therapeutic for me. It connects me to so many beautiful, unique, charismatic, strong women. Sharing stories of finding love, experiencing loss & going through life’s hardships. Sharing the stories of our lives is, beautiful. The deep knowing that you’re not the only one on the planet feeling certain emotions and the just being able to have the ability to connect with another person is magical.

Doing makeup has been a creative outlet for me and although it feels repetitive at times. It’s where I’am the most comfortable. I’am in a place that feels right. I’am in the element and environment I love so much that makes me feel whole as a person & artist.

Theee most EPIC Glowy Bridal Soft -Glam 🤌🏽 ✨

This is what bridal dreams are made of. This bridal makeup glam you CANNOT go wrong with. The skin looks healthy and radiant from within. I have purposefully layered foundation, concealer, blush and powders for long lasting results. Without overloading the skin with too much makeup, just enough. Eyes are soft and bright and yet still pop. Everything is chefs kiss. When I do bridal glam everything I do is done with purpose and intention. I don’t just slap on product for the sake of it. You are my canvas when you are in my chair and I feel like you are really a work of art. :)

I do miss the days when being a Makeup Artist meant you could just… be a Makeup Artist.

Work on your craft. Create beautiful makeup. Make your clients feel incredible. Go home.

Now apparently we’re also a content creator, editor, photographer, strategist, social media manager and part-time algorithm negotiator. 🤡

And then Instagram said, Cute. Now make a reel.

So anyway, I’ll be back tomorrow with a new content so the internet doesn’t forget I exist.

Just some super easy 10 minute glam 😂🫶🏽
I absolutely loved this pinky, full glam moment.

It was my client’s 30th birthday and she gave me creative direction to do whatever I wanted, Artistry wise.

Most people don’t realize this, but the makeup looks you see posted on my page are looks that are requested by the Client sitting in my chair. On some occasion, I am given creative freedom to do what I think is best. But not usually with bridal. I do cater to 100% bridal Clientele. I don’t usually get to choose what kind of makeup I’m doing on my bride. There is always inspiration imagery and it is a collaborative effort between artist and client. 💕
