💫 HOW TO PREPARE FOR MAKEUP & HAIR 💫

💜 Please arrive with a clean face.

💜 Start your skincare early (weeks in advance). The evening before, you can give your skin some extra care. On the morning of your appointment, follow your normal skincare routine. I will prep your skin right before the makeup application to achieve a long-lasting but beautiful glow. Please don’t apply any heavy serums or very rich skincare products under your makeup, as they can cause the makeup to pill or slide.

💜 If you want to use your favorite lip product during the day, bring it with you so we can match the lip makeup to it. Otherwise, we can create any lip look you like, and you can later get a suitable product to refresh it. Lip makeup is often the first thing to wear off during the day, especially lip glosses.

💜 Please arrive with clean and completely dry hair. Moisture can affect how well the hairstyle holds. Drying the hair can also take a lot of time and impact the schedule. If your hair doesn’t get oily easily, it’s best to wash it the day before.

💜 Blow-dry your hair after washing, if possible. You may lightly apply a mousse or another lightweight styling product before blow-drying.

💜 You may use your regular rinse-out conditioner as well as a leave-in spray conditioner. However, please avoid oil-based products, as they can make the hair too slippery.

💜 Do not apply any powder-based products to your hair, such as hair powder or dry shampoo. These can make the hair texture more difficult to work with.

💜 Bring any hair accessories with you if you would like to include them in the hairstyle.

💜 Wear a top that is easy to take off.

💜 I recommend looking for inspiration photos of makeup and hairstyles you like. Note! it’s best to choose hairstyle references where the hair color is similar to yours.

xx

🖤DARKEST DESIRES🖤

Still so excited of this look we created for @bodypainting_festival for editorial category.
This was my first time competing in editorial makeup. I got so inspired of this. The way it challenges you. You just want to be better with what you’re doing and create more. For the next time!✨

🖤DARKEST DESIRES🖤

Wow what a journey and experience!!
On Saturday I’ve competed in the @bodypainting_festival in editorial category which theme was darkest desires.
I had the best team ever! My model @emilia.tamminen and costume designer @satusinkko and photo by @taussi_ . Look at this photo that we made for the competition! I would say that she’s STUNNING!!🔥💜 No other words needed!! by @makeuphairtanja

✨🌸🔮💜36💜🔮🌸✨

Wow what a year! So much lived life and unforgettable moments that I will carry with me always. Of course there has been ups and downs but mostly ups. The biggest change was maybe my identity from blond to brunette, haha, but I love it.
Sometimes I need to pinch myself to realise where I come to. Life is amazing and I will celebrate it fully everyday and especially today! It feels an honour to get older.
And f*ck that it feels good!!🔥
