Heyyyy chicaaaas!!! Long time no see🥹🫶🏽

Just poppin on here to say hi 👋🏽& see all your beautiful faces again😍 Life’s been quite the rollercoaster- as some of you may know. So decided to take some time away & get back to me. Sometimes taking that step back to find your balance again is needed - U know?!

I gotta say it’s been an interesting ride these last 4yrs tho😮‍💨 Can y’all believe it’s already been 4 yrs since the world stopped?! 🤯🫣

I think life after {the “C”}word really changed for many of us. Especially entrepreneurs & business owners! We’ve had to pivot & reinvent ourselves over & over again. We’ve had to try new strategies & have new outlooks on many things. I gotta be honest I am still navigating all of that. But one thing I know for sure- makeup & all things beauty- is STILL my first love❤️

So I wanted to take this moment out to say hi & shout out all the boss babes & entrepreneurs & business owners out here navigating this weird economy shift. Keep ya head up. Keep pushing.

I’d like to take a moment & show my sincere gratitude to @mlweddingsatl for this nomination 🥹🙏🏼… I am truly grateful- Thank You ❤️

I joined this platform 11yrs ago now & just started posting my very entry level makeup pics… (scroll down at your own risk) lol 😂 but you know everyone starts somewhere! And for me- it all started here on- Instagram. I never did it for the likes or the recognition - I did it because I TRULY loved creating.
Those posts- as “poor quality” as they may have been lol Have led me to meet some of the most incredible people, experience some of the coolest jobs, travel to places I could only dream of. AND have pushed me to my niche- Weddings!!! Bridal Makeup & Hair. Its my first love and I thank God every day for the blessing of ART. And for the amazing opportunities this platform has afforded me.

So to look back at all the amazing brides & bridal parties that have chosen me to be a part of THEIR day is beyond words..🥹🫶🏽❤️ Thank You all who have ever trusted me to glam on all your Very important occasions. Because of all you beautiful people I get to do what I have always dreamed of!!! 😭🫶🏽

Have you ever met a person that just by being around them makes you feel…lighter.
Like they carry this beautiful gift of LIGHT and PURE. GENUINE. UNFILTERED. LOVE.
That was Janet🤍✨She could instantly make me feel less stressed or anxious just by being around her.

Honestly, it’s takin me a min to come up with the words… I don’t think it had hit me yet. Not until tonight. At her celebration of life ceremony. Seeing all of those pictures of her & hugging her family. Seeing her babies And seeing everyone we grew up with after all these years. Once again she brought people together. As she did many times & situations before.

Janet… my sweet girl. This one hurts & still feels so unreal. We were supposed to be buying wigs together right now remember! 😔😭 But at least I know you’re no longer in pain.You will be missed soooo much. That warm smile & hug you always gave will be with me ALWAYS. Thank you for always being there to listen or offer advice. Even if we didn’t hang out like we use too I always knew you still had my back. Thank you for believing in me way back when I started my makeup career. Thank you for being a great friend ALWAYS.

I know you are up there crackin jokes & singing your heart out. Until we meet again amiga. 🕊️🤍😔
