#cosmicseptemberchallenge I am just a makeup enthusiast that did this look for a work day so it's nothing fancy but I love Cosmic Beauty's products and they always make me feel fancy. There is so much talk about this right now (thanks, arrogant Charlotte!) but, IMO, the term "dupe" is being used incorrectly so often. There is a difference between makeup dupes vs. makeup alternatives. I am all for choosing your makeup for you and your pocketbook. I buy what I want to achieve what I want and I have zero luxury, prestige and designer brands in my makeup collection and I love whst I have. If you want an "-esque" look because the original is not affordable for you, do your research and find ALTERNATIVES that give you what you want and makes you feel good. That is what makeup is about; looking good, feeling good, experimenting, embracing what makes you YOU and feeling the way you want to feel. Now outright dupes (I'm looking at you MCo Beauty, Makeup Revolution, Alter Ego), especially those that are purposefully mirroring packaging in what feels like attempts to confuse consumers, I am not down with that. Please let's not create negativity towards brands that offer ALTERNATIVES for consumers as opposed to those that have built brands on "utilizing" others ideas and successes to "liberally borrow" from instead of having an original idea and creating an actual brand with a mission, goal, identity a/k/a DUPES. by @makeupnhorror
