Fancy Gloss - Haunted Hues 2.0 (3 coats)

I have too many Halloween polishes and not enough days to wear them all 🙃

I'm so glad that I wore this. I definitely recommend 3 coats; the warm state almost looked invisible with the first coat. It's been so fun watching my nails change in different settings.

The last picture is a bottle shot comparison with Superstition. It's pretty crazy how different they are on the nails!

Kathleen & Co - Rosary Pea (2 coats)

To think I almost held back on getting this 🙃

It has similar vibes to Polished For Days' Raspberry Chocolate (RC), but the shimmer is more of a glow from within while RC is more shimmer forward. The brown base is also more of a milk chocolate and RC has a bit of a deeper base.

The last pic is a swatch of the polish with a matte top coat. I kind of like it!

Polished For Days - Raspberry Chocolate (3 coats)

I can't believe I got the chance to own this polish when Jenna brought it back. I almost held back because it looked dupe-able, but I'm so glad I didn't. The shimmer POPS in the sunlight, yet is still so beautiful in low light settings as well. Two coats probably would have been sufficient, but I was able to see through my nail when holding my hand up against the light so I went ahead and applied a third coat.

The last few pics are a swatch of the polish with a matte top coat. I kind of like it!

Victorian Varnish - Ionic Exchange (3 coats)

I have been trying to wear this polish for so long but couldn't find it until recently lol. I wanted to test out the Magia glass bead device against a magnetic lab stirrer, so I first did the following across all fingers:

Applied 3 coats VV, waited until the nails were dry to the touch

Applied 1 coat DRK Magic Effect when each nail was ready to be magnetized

Magnetized for 30 seconds, wait until the nail was dry to the touch

Top coat and then magnetize again for 1 minute

The magnet style for each finger was:

Thumb: cat eye

Pointer: Magia glass bead, used the base + thick plate

Middle: Magnetic lab stirrer, nail facing DOWN

Ring: Magnetic lab stirrer, nail facing up (e.g. finger resting on surface)

Pinky: Velvet

Overall, my favorite was the middle nail, however it is annoying to hold the nail side facing down and trying not to bump it on the surface. It was also only my second time using the Magia device so the results may get better with practice. My pointer finger looks like a hybrid of velvet and glass bead, while my ring finger pretty much looks unmagnetized (which is still pretty).

One other thing I've noticed is that the polish was quite difficult to peel off and I think it's because the DRK maybe did too good of a job melting all the layers of polish together. I was still able to remove the polish without acetone, but it did take a little more work than usual.

The first video is how the polish looks unmagnetized. I labeled the video, but I guess it didn't show up due to the ratio.

Bee's Knees Lacquer - Divine Darkness (2 or 3 coats...I can't remember 😅)

This polish is such a vibe, and potentially a Christmas polish due to the red base. The base color almost looks black, but the red really pops in the sunlight. The finish was so smooth and it made me think of car paint. I think a car would look so cool in this color!

I was quite happy that I did not have any staining with this polish and it may have been because I applied two layers of base coat.

LynB Designs - The Nightmare Persists (2 coats)

This is the last of the LynB's that I wore. I purchased this back in August and am slightly sad that it does not glow in the dark anymore. Maybe it's my top coat preventing light from getting through? Either way, the polish itself is still very pretty and I didn't buy it just for the special effect. In low light, my nails look like fizzy soda.

LynB Designs - Cactus Makes Perfect (2 coats)

I've got a few more LynB polishes to share and up next is Cactus Makes Perfect. This is such a pretty polish! The shimmer really transforms it.

I've been meaning to wear this since purchasing and am so glad that I finally got around to it and that it still transitions.

Dark & Twisted Lacquer - Blackberry Sorbet (3 coats)

The word I think of when it comes to this polish is: whimsical. The more I stare at it, the more I like it. The tone of purple is so spot on for the namesake. The added purple shimmer and glitters give it that extra depth.

*I can't remember if I applied glitter grabber or not, but I do recall the glitters laying down pretty smoothly.

LynB Designs - Bombastic Side Eye (2 coats)

I had regrets skipping this one when it first came out and am so glad it came back for Rewind. The solar transition is on the subtle side, taking a decent amount of sunlight to bring out the pale blue color. I wore 2 coats, but would recommend 3 coats because of the (minor) visible nail line in the warm state.

This polish is very pretty in all states!

Moth & Moon - Autumn Fairies (2 coats)

This polish is so fall coded, but could also pass as a Christmas polish. I knew I loved this polish as soon as it was shared in the PPU group and am confirming that thought after wearing it. It's so fun staring at my nails when outside and catching all the sparkles.
