This doesn’t even scratch the surface on all there is to see @longbranchfarms We had a blast playing an event there on Monday. Trio vibes were on point! 3 part harmonies… sounded like angels. Honky Tonk angels that is! Shout out to @innent taken in Long Branch Farms by @makeyourselfheard

We played an opening slot for Kool & the Gang... and I almost talked myself out of belonging there.

If you’ve ever had that tiny voice say “who do you think you are?”
— drop a 🎤 in the comments.

Big stage. Big sound. Three subs.
Zero hand-holding.
And somehow the whole day turned into one of those rare, pinch-me kind of moments.
* I felt the nerves hit about 4 songs in.
* Then the room, the crowd, and the musicianship pulled me right back in.
* Watching Kool & the Gang side stage was the reminder: joy is part of the job too.
And honestly? That’s what I needed.

Not a perfect day. Just a real one.

Save this for the next time your brain gets loud right before you’re about to do something big. Full episode available on YouTube and where you listen to podcasts.

his Saturday Sept 12th!

Mercy & The Heartbeats is honored to open for Kool & the Gang!

City of South San Francisco Parks and Recreation Department’s annual
Concert in the Park on
Saturday, September 12, 2026,
at Orange Memorial Park

It’s a FREE event!

Activities start at 11:30am
Mercy & The Heartbeats 1pm-2:15pm
Kool & The Gang 3:30pm-5pm

As the City’s largest annual community event, Concert in the Park brings together thousands of residents and visitors for an unforgettable day of live music, delicious food, family-friendly activities, community vendors, and more.
This year’s celebration will feature an enhanced experience made possible through the generous support of Genentech, which is commemorating their 50th anniversary and longstanding partnership with the South San Francisco community.

**Pack your concert essentials and get ready for a day of live music, community, and fun! Here’s what we recommend bringing to make the most of your Concert in the Park experience:
* Yourself, family, and friends!
* Low-back lawn chairs and picnic blankets for relaxing on the lawn.
* Your personal essentials—please keep belongings within your seating area and out of walkways.
* A valid photo ID if you plan to purchase beer or wine (21+).
* Cash, as some vendors may not accept credit or debit cards. Beer and wine sales are cash only.
* Your camera or phone to capture and share your favorite moments.
* Your best concert vibes!

Our flabbers? GASTED. 🤯😂

And naturally, we need to know:
what’s your most outrageous fake-out story?

I don’t want to feel like we’re the only ones who have been bamboozled. 👀

Also… thanks for your patience while we disappeared into a wild stretch of gigs, followed by a last minute much-needed quick vacay.
We missed you! 💁‍♀️🎤✈️

We’re back, slightly more rested, and ready to spill the tea.

🎙️ Episode 29: “Subpar Subs, Spats & Brass” is available wherever you get your podcasts—or you can watch the chaos unfold on YouTube.

IT’S HER BIRTHDAY!!!

Yes yes, it’s true - Miss Mercy Herself is turning…well, another year older. Lucky for us, she LOVES birthdays. And we love celebrating her!

Selfishly, I’m so thankful this wonderful wife, partner, mother (and so many other things) was brought into this world. If you know her, it should be no surprise that she’s a Leo. It’s always interesting! 😹🤗😘

Come celebrate with us in Foster City tonight with @mercyandtheheartbeats 6pm-8pm

And reach out and tell her you love her! by @makeyourselfheard

Still riding the high from our
July 31st night at Redwood City’s “Music on the Square!” 🎸✨

Honestly, there’s nothing better than seeing all those friendly faces in the crowd.
Hearing how long some of you have been coming to our shows?
That’s what it’s all about!
You guys are the heartbeat of what we do, and we’re so grateful for every moment we get to share with you.

To our Heartbeat Nation:
our friends, family and fans, “new” and “old”…

Thanks for making it such an epic night.
Can’t wait to do it all over again soon! Much love and respect. ✌️❤️
