WHAT IS MY PURPOSE NOW ⁉️

This past Saturday @creativesuitland in SUITLAND, MD. — these strong queens came together to discuss and come up with ways to end one of the leading causes of death in our country, gun violence. The indescribable pain of losing a child is what fuels these women to carry out this mission, so no other mother ever has to stand with them.
Five mothers, bonded by trauma…all who’ve lost sons. Each woman who participated in the ‘What is My Purpose Now?’ panel discussion with local leaders, hoped their words will resonate and bridge the widening gap between families and the community.

THANK YOU 🙏🏽 ❤️‍🔥 … from my brother Ricky

My brother Ricky is truly thankful for every donation, every meal, every piece of clothing, every dollar, and every person who showed him love. 🙏🏾

I don’t record him to embarrass him or put his situation on display. I share it because I want him to know he’s still seen, still valued, and still loved.

And maybe somebody watching will be moved to help the next person.

Because truthfully, life can change fast. A lot of us have been through hard times, and some of us are only one missed paycheck or one bad situation away from needing that same helping hand.

So thank you for looking past the circumstance and seeing the human being. ❤️

Sometimes Making A Difference is simply reminding somebody they haven’t been forgotten. 💯

Community. Unity. Peace. 🕊️💙

It was powerful to join the Suitland Peace Walk at Suitland High School, hosted by Prince Hamn, CEO of Making A Difference (M.A.D.).

This event was about bringing our community together, raising awareness about gun violence, and standing united for safer neighborhoods. Every step we took was a reminder that creating change starts with showing up, speaking out, and supporting one another.

Thank you to Prince Hamn, M.A.D., and everyone who came out to walk for peace and make their voices heard.

Together, we can continue building a safer, stronger, and more united Prince George’s County. 🕊️💪🏾

Three years strong, and the mission remains the same: peace, unity, love, and community. 💙

We walk together to honor our community, remember those we’ve lost, uplift our youth, and stand together for a safer tomorrow. 🙏🏾

One community. One voice. One movement. ✊🏾🕊️
