More of my perler bs. This time, it's Captain America and the Avengers from the 1991 NES game!

I made all of the main characters, plus one new sprite that didn't appear in the original game! Can you guess which?

This has its flaws but is also far too underrated (I blame the SNES port of the arcade game - that thing is TERRIBLE). In fact, I kinda want to do a Weekend Rental video on it at some point. Would people want to see that? Let me know!

One of the most interesting topics from the podcast: AI hallucinations. When AI sounds confident but gets it completely wrong. Great discussion on why critical thinking still matters. 👀 @makopowered whoa! by @makopowered

The latest Weekend Rental is up! This time, we look at the last game in the Castlevania franchise's original timeline before Lords of Shadow rebooted the series - 2005's Curse of Darkness! Focusing on the story of Hector and Isaac, devil forgemasters who worked with Dracula during the events of Castlevania III, is this game good enough to raise the dead or should it be forever entombed?

Coming home from an emergency pet store visit to get hay for Mr. Fluffles, I encountered this absolute legend. This guy was not only not really afraid of me, but actually felt comfortable enough to keep eating in front of me!

In an effort to keep forwarding my YouTube channel's anti-fascist stance, I picked this up today from @retrochasegames

I have a few videos in the pipeline, but I want to make a video on this by the end of the year as part of Xbox's 25th anniversary

Just in time for Easter and the start of the Xbox's 25th anniversary year, the first Weekend Rental video of 2026 looks at Blinx the Time Sweeper!

This would-be mascot for the original Xbox came out shortly after the Xbox's launch... riiiight around when the landscape of the mascot platformer was drastically changing.

Does Blinx manage a clean sweep or should it be lost to time?

More Perler art bs. This time, I went with one of my all-time favorite movies - Robocop. While I did use the NES sprite as a base, I actually changed things up to make it more movie-accurate. I really like how this turned out, but what do you think?

Also, I've started an Etsy shop for my perler art, named PixelPerlerPower (https://pixelperlerpower.etsy.com). I only have a couple of items listed at the moment, but will have more, including the giant Godzilla I made, up soon!
