Hell yeah! The boys are back and everyone is frothing! So sorry for no posts since September, there has been nothing to post as obviously c*vid dented the gigs for Mako for the remainder of 2021, but with new rules set to come in from Friday, the shows have been rescheduled for the Stranger Days tour!! ✈ how exciting. Hope everyone has been doing okay and you've all still been listening to the guys non-stop.

Just on a side note, I've not been checking this account much due to no updates and I've been exceptionally busy with @welcometothegig which has kind of taken off. Once the gigs commence, I will be doing a gig review over on the blog of the Stranger Days tour!!! (Sadly didn't get to do Napier as was taking photos and was focusing on that, rather than the show). Looking forward to reuniting with the boys :) alright, enough rambling! Grab ya tickies NOW!!! taken in New Zealand by @makoroadupdates

Last night was a bit (!!!!) cool, despite the lockdown announcement! If your show has been postponed, I'm sincerely sorry, but can tell you it will be worth the wait🧡 here are a few highlights from last night for you in the meantime... (I'm heading back to Chch 3 days early tonight, obviously due to restrictions etc).

The guys put on a killer performance to send us into lockdown and even had some epic costumes from out the back of the venue to chuck on. They introduced themselves as the "support act" and asked if they could play some Mako Road covers for us (excellent haha! Some people didn't realise it was them 🧐). The merch was mean, as pictured here - they also have the summer tees and the new buckethat for sale. If you buy the vinyl, make sure to find the guys for signatures - shoutout Connor for starting the signing process for mine - what a legend! This is all signed, but they're in gold, so you can barely see Robbie and CJ's haha). The show was lit. So much fun. No matter what, they always have a smile on their faces and perform amazingly, whatever the situation. I asked Rhian if I could take some photos as Suggie wasn't there - will see if they came out well when I get home tonight as the lighting was a bit tricky to work with, but think there are a few good shots. The hugs and yarns are always the best from the boys, so that really personally made my day, too. Waited at the venue since just after 5 to calm the nerves of the impending announcement and thought "hey even if I JUST can hear them soundcheck from outside, that's good enough if all 3 shows get canned" - thankful the show did go ahead though!! Bloody legends. Am excited to get them on @welcometothegig eventually, hopefully soon!!!! Thank you again, @makoroad - you know I have a lot of love in my heart for you guys and never know how to express it with verbal words, but you guys are amazing and always put on epic shows! Catch up soon x
