Spent this morning reminiscing on when Dichos en Nichos, en vivo, was purely conceptual. This is a series of reference photos used to help me direct the physical design of the play, conceptualize movements and looks. Now it's a fully formed, living breathing, physicalized narrative. As I sat above the stage in the sound booth, I saw the story with brand new eyes, looking down on the many audience members who joined us for our opening weekend. A room full of beating hearts and individual imaginations charged the story with humanity. Theatre is the least permanent form of art. Only two more weekends to witness all of the hard work of all of the wonderful human’s behind Dichos en Nichos. 5 more performances (with some nights already close to being sold out!!) #ephemeral www.teatroparaguasnm.org taken in Teatro Paraguas by @makstak
