of all the animals we were lucky enough to see on safari, none left me as speechless as the elephants of hoedspruit! these incredibly shy and kind gentle giants would stroll through camp for a snack or a drink just meters away from us, while we sat mesmerized by their grace and sheer size!! taken in Campfire Academy by @malbringuier

i don’t update regularly and i don’t feel the need to most of the time, but i’ve just come back from a phenomenal trip to Mozambique with @lovetheoceans, a nonprofit focused on establishing an EPA in Inhambane (a province with an incredible amount of biodiversity and an even more incredible community within it)

i won’t write a novel-sized caption (though i could), and i won’t post every photo i have (though i want to), but i did want to emphasize just how COOL organizations like Love The Oceans are for taking on the responsibility of caring for our environment and uplifting powerful local communities
