For years I struggled with a lot of shit silently because I convinced myself that I could figure everything out myself. But little did I know that would only destroy me in the long run. I filled my days with the things I loved to do just to make it through the day or so that someone wouldn’t ask me “are you okay!?”. I always placed this pressure on myself to be at a certain point in life by a certain age.. But now Ive learned that it’s alright to go at your own pace and be okay with the things that are happening for me right now. It’s crazy how some of the happiest moments of your life can be the worse times lol. I never stopped believing in myself and I always loved myself fully but there was just something that was mentally fucking me over and I found out very quickly it was ME placing this extreme amount of pressure on myself. I stopped being stubborn and allowed the people that loved & cared for me to point me in the right direction so I could be fully happy and enjoy my life. I’m proud of myself & i’ll never fall into that dark ass place ever again because I know that there’s so much to be grateful for and look forward to. Here’s to another year! 💫 by @malcolmarkel
