No laser cutting was used in the making of this process! All of the leather M’s used for my Malcolm Malik handbags are hand cut using the custom made M template. Along with the custom curved punch designed to create that perfect round shape identical to the M emblem. Here I’m edge creasing the M and preparing it to be hand pricked and hand sewn. Hello Family,Here’s a sneak peak of the ‘Signature M’ handbag. 100% hand stitched leather goods apart of our F/W 2022 collection. Designed in Chicago. For my first signature piece I wanted to recreate the shape of my ‘M’ icon into 3D form. This intricate design took me two years to perfect into a physical and functional work of art.
