Contract ledger updated: 5 objectives remaining. Crafted this short piece as an official entry for the Highfields AI competition. Behind the Process: Utilized video-to-video (V2V) references to drive the visual cadence, camera moves, and micro-timing of the scene. • Built around a cold, calculated dialogue rhythm inspired by neo-noir thrillers—stripping away human warmth for pure corporate efficiency. • Paired with a minimalist digital waveform aesthetic to let the audio subtext and weight of the contract breathe inside a tight 10-second window. Sound on 🎧—drop a comment and let me know what you think of the pacing! #Higgsfield #HiggsfieldAI #AIFilmmaker #VideoToVideo #V2V DigitalAudio MAXINFILMS IndieCreator SciFiShort CreativeTech by @malcombanks

I know people haven't heard from me in a while but I had to be able to know without a shadow of a doubt I could capture performance and enhance the environment I know to many cold ssa actors directors writers and DPs to not be able to work with them anymore. Naw we about to go on a whole other other level. Casting call soon!!! #MAXINFILMS #HybridFilmmaking #IDoArt #GrindinJack #generativeai by @malcombanks

Watch the transformation happen in real time.

Taking a single capture and placing the subject directly inside a cinematic screening room came down to three key moves:

Atmospheric Environment: Built out the theater background to anchor the subject in an immersive, believable setting.

Negative Fill: Carved out shadows to kill flat spill, sculpting facial features and driving high-contrast visual drama.

Projector Flicker: Synced realistic, shifting screen light across the subject to mirror the dynamic bounce of an active theater screen.

Sometimes the biggest difference between raw footage and a finished scene isn't just what you add—it's how you shape the light.
