Post-Match Interview: Dominant Blocking and Team Chemistry Shine in Win Over Bishop Chatard

We had a post match chat with HSE’s Malea Oliver [‘27].

Malea talks about their first match against Bishop Chatard, highlighting the strong start, best-ever blocking performance, and aggressive attacking. She discusses experimenting with new plays in the second set before returning to our core strategy in the third. She emphasizes the team’s chemistry, especially with seniors Brooklyn and Mia, and how their comfort with each other allows them to play freely and have fun. Malea also gave shout-outs to her best friends and club coaches.
