Dark Lite (or Dark Lite Records) is an East Coast organization dedicated to the education and empowerment of Black People through Art, Music, History, and community outreach. Our mission is to free the people who were born in the dark and give them that light, WITHOUT sacrificing what makes us Dark.

They say that we are loud because they cannot fathom our range...

They say that we are violent because they cannot withstand the force of our Identities...

They say that we are lazy because they must work hard for what comes to us naturally...

They say that we are not smart because our intelligence cannot be monetized...

They say that we are unprofessional because they must put on a mask to be successful...

...but we say "why would we want to be anything but Black"
