Coffee first.

The first days that feel like autumn.
Wool, wet grass, quiet company.

(Sometimes the supporting cast quietly takes the lead.)

Before the light changed.

Some seasons don’t end all at once.
You just keep choosing outside while you still can.

Sometimes what you miss says enough.

Some things don’t need fixing.
Just a little less weight.

Handmade paper birds. Liked them most when the air started moving them.

Not everything needs a tight grip to stay with us.

For the unfinished, the unplanned, the last piece on the plate.
Maybe empty space isn’t waiting to be filled.

Light across the wall.
A paper bird passing through. Handmade white paper birds suspended on thin threads against a pale sky, gently moving in the breeze. Minimalist paper art photographed outdoors in soft natural light. taken in Oslo, Norway by @malie.moo

Under the apple tree, first weekend in August moves a little slower.
An old swing, warm afternoon light, and the season’s first apple.

A quiet breeze moving through the branches. Sometimes that’s all a moment needs.
