🎨 Learning Beyond the Classroom!

Today, students from Arts in Context class, taught by Professor Emily Cranz, visited the Kennedy Museum of Art at Ohio University for an afternoon of art, observation, and conversation!

Students were treated to a guided tour of two ongoing exhibitions, Material Matters and Telluric, led by Luca Gee and Amalia Feliciano. The tour was followed by an engaging discussion where students unpacked the artworks, shared their interpretations, and made connections to the ideas and concepts they have been exploring in class.

A wonderful opportunity to experience art firsthand, ask questions, exchange perspectives, and bring classroom learning into the museum space!

A fun day of learning outside the classroom! ✨

So excited to share that earlier this summer I had the opportunity to pursue a certificate in UX Design, which is something I have been interested in exploring for years! I would like to thank @brainstation for connecting me with incredible instructors and experiences. My forever family. For my final project I created a prototype for my app, NightCap, an app that connects college students to nightlife locations, activities, and events on college campuses 🌙

And that’s a wrap ✨🥂

This semester I had the incredible privilege of working as a Graphic Designer for Ohio University’s Official Athena Yearbook, and with the help of my team we were able to create an 100% online yearbook available for everyone to enjoy! With this opportunity I was able hone in on my skills in UX design to create an interactive layout for viewers and gained further experience in design softwares such as Microsoft Sway, Adobe Indesign, and Adobe Photoshop.
