Two years in Bend with a best friend. What more could a boy ask for?

"The pain of your absence is sharp and haunting, and I would give anything not to know it; anything but never knowing you at all (which would be worse)." - Plume, Outer Wilds taken in Bend, Oregon by @malikey11

Europe 2024 - Austria, Slovenia, and Hungary

So grateful for the opportunity I got to perform with some truly incredible musicians in some of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. Post is late and apparently you can only tag 20 people on Instagram, so I definitely missed a few people. Extra special thanks to @jrfjeldsted and for her kindness and trust in me ❤️❤️❤️ by @malikey11

“Ah! like gold fall the leaves in the wind,
long years numberless as the wings of trees!
The years have passed like swift draughts
of the sweet mead in lofty halls beyond the West,
beneath the blue vaults of Varda
wherein the stars tremble in the song of her voice, holy and queenly.

Who now shall refill the cup for me?

For now the Kindler, Varda, the Queen of the Stars,
from Mount Everwhite has uplifted her hands like clouds,
and all paths are drowned deep in shadow;
and out of a grey country darkness
lies on the foaming waves between us,
and mist covers the jewels of Calacirya for ever.
Now lost, lost to those from the East is Valimar!

Farewell! Maybe thou shalt find Valimar.
Maybe even thou shalt find it. Farewell!”

“The gardener is all in. They are playing for keeps. And they are wrong. Or so I argue: for, after all, the universe is undecidable. There is no destiny. We're all making this up as we go along. Neither the gardener nor I know for certain that we're eternally, universally right. But we can be nothing except what we are. You have a choice.”
- The Winnower, The Wager, Unveiling

“It is a sign of self-respect, Eriana always said, to fearlessly question our deepest beliefs. But it will always be rank foolishness to leap into a vat of plutonium salt and call it self-exploration.
And to tempt your friends into that vat with you… that is evil.
Thank you for being so worthy of trust. Thank you for carrying my hope.”
- Eris Morn, Trust and Hope, Unveiling
