A clip from our conversation on @photovogue festival with @eyemamaproject and @alessiaglaviano 🤍
I touched upon the topic about loneliness and the need for community during postpartum, and how lucky I was to be able to find @eyemamaproject. I’m still so extremely grateful for that we all were able to talk about pregnancy, caregiving and the power of photography in connecting people and ideas. If not more now then ever, these kind of communities is everything.

You can see the full conversation on @photovogue and also check out the amazing Eye Mama book! Such an important book that shows all the different ways of care through the lens of mothers. by @malin_westermann

@mamasession is back on October 14th at @berlinstudio.oslo 📸🎞️💘

we’ve been creating a space for over 3 years now where mothers can come together, connect, share their experiences, and find a sense of belonging in the beautiful, messy, and sometimes overwhelming journey of motherhood.

we are serving delicious and nourishing food from the best @frodig.no + you get your photos taken during a time where everything goes by so fast.

whether you’re a new mother, navigating the postpartum period, or further along in your motherhood journey, we want to welcome you exactly as you are.

almost half of our spots have already been booked during presale, and we’re so grateful for the love and interest in this event.

💘some of my favourite photos from mamasessions💘

after hosting mamasessions for over 3 years now, we are entering a new season of it where we will be having a few more events this autumn and I can’t wait to photograph and meet a lot of new mothers.

it’s been over 400 mothers in total on this event, and it is still a sold out event everytime. to be able to combine photography, community and nurturing food in a time where it is most needed are truly amazing.

we opened up one more spot for Wednesday - let me know if you want to secure it or follow the link in bio to make sure it’s yours💌 by @malin_westermann
