I’ve always been fascinated by redwood trees 🌲

They are among the tallest trees in the world yet their roots spread outward intertwining with those around them and helping one another stand strong

Perhaps we’re a little like that too

We don’t grow because we stand alone We grow because of the people we are rooted alongside

That’s what makes receiving the Cheers to Peers Award 2026 so special ❤️

If I have grown or managed to stand a little taller it is because of the people around me who encourage challenge support laugh with me and make space for me

To my fellow Chennai Superstars ⭐ thank you for being part of my growth

This may be an individual award but my roots tell a very different story 🌱

And to the people I come home to thank you for always being my roots ❤️

12 ❤️

There’s a strange mix of emotions that comes with watching your child grow. So much excitement and pride in seeing the person you’re becoming, and at the same time, this quiet wish that you’d just slow down a little.

How did 12 years pass this quickly?

There’s a little more melancholy in this birthday for me. I find myself wondering if I soaked in enough of the little moments. If I was present enough for all the versions of you that came before this one. And now, as you grow and need me differently, will I know how to keep showing up in the ways you need?

So many thoughts running through my mind this birthday.

But I keep going back to the day you were born.

They placed you on my belly to nurse, and I remember feeling completely helpless. I had absolutely no idea what I was supposed to do. And then this tiny little you somehow crawled your way towards me and started nursing all on your own.

I think you taught me something about you in that very first moment.

You will find your way.

You always have, and I know you always will.

And I’ll be right here, sometimes watching, sometimes guiding, probably worrying more than I need to, but always, always loving you.

30 years since her passing but she lives in all of us. We still carry a bit of her passion for gardening in our little ways. This plant apparently blooms very rarely and I had the blessing this year. What other song can be suitable for this post other than pachai maram. Our family lullaby 🥹 by @malini_ps

We were hosted by the amazing team at @ammakase , the world’s first Indian Omakase experience in Singapore for our wedding anniversary.

What followed was a scrumptious dinner accompanied by beautiful stories shared by our host of the evening, Mr Jenzen all the way from Ipoh.
