A bundle of pure love...that's what our Camden was. His whole face would light up and smile when he would see us. His tail didn't wag, his entire body did!
He came into our lives as a tiny, scared puppy who would not let us come close to him. Over time, Kismet won him over and he became such a cuddle bug!
He grew into a very handsome boy who was always present to greet us when we came or went.

Today that little boy has left us. Hit by a speeding vehicle that left him on the road to die. No one bothered to stop to check if he was ok.

His mother and siblings all witnessed his death.

When dogs chase speeding vehicles we blame them...such a nuisance, so aggressive. What about this? Now who was the aggressive one? Our innocent little darling lost his life due to someone's irresponsible driving.
All we can do now is console ourselves that our baby is in a better place, a safer place away from all those dog haters.
Run free our darling! You'll never be forgotten. You're so so precious to us.
Love you forever!

This gorgous boy, Tiramisu, got a terrible wound on his chin which got infected with maggots. Poor baby was in terrible pain. Now, he is a very scared dog ever since he witnessed his sister dying. So we could not treat him. With great difficulty, we managed to sedate him, catch him, and send him to a shelter for treatment. Everything was going well until on day 5 his cage got left open and Tiramisu escaped.

Now this shelter was 15 kms away from his home area and he had no idea where he was. We were dying of guilt. Poor baby, lost in totally unfamiliar territory. Our whole family went and searched for him for a few hours, but there were fields all around and it was impossible to find a hiding dog.

We came home feeling terribly sad and guilty. Couldn't stop wondering how he would cope. Not to mention the horrid wound that still needed treatment.

The next day, when I went on my usual feeding routine to the market area, guess who I find sleeping at his usual place...TIRAMISU 🥰🥰🥰. He had managed to run back 15 kms, all by himself, to his home place. It was a miracle!

I still cannot understand how he managed. According to a telepathic communication session with him he said he managed to trace his way back from the scent of our car wheels (which he was used to as he used to smell them every morning when I go to feed the dogs).

Truly unbelievable!

Managed to match my 3rd hair donation with a very special day... my mum's 75th birthday!

This hair will be used to make wigs for cancer patients. Hair must be a minimum of 12 inches, in a plait for it to be usable.

There's so much i have to be grateful for. If i can help making someone's life a little less difficult, why wouldn't I???

Thank you to my two Kismet's...one my inspiration to do this, the other my hair dresser!

9 years ago this very precious creature was born and her existence has brought so much love and happiness into our lives. Gustini is such a special baby and she's the protector of our plumerias!! She loves spending time with me while I garden on the roof.
