Thankful Thursday 🥰

Dreams are to be lived out not just in your imagination. Writing the vision is the first step, however, each decision you make each day will either take you closer or farther away from your goals.

After the passing of my mom in February 2024, I found myself feeling lost, lonely, and living beneath my privilege trying to help others at my expense. Instead of sulking or giving up I decided to take what was in my hands and reach towards better with mutual respect, lasting results and favorable benefits. For the past year I have been pursuing two different degrees from two different schools, and this week, I accomplished one of my goals graduating from Purdue Global University! My mom would’ve been so proud and excited to hear the news! I finished with excellent grades in all courses and received honors!

I’m just getting started!!! Looking forward to many more amazing goals achieved and celebrating each milestone, too.

Doctors counted me out, but God!

Every setback was a launching pad for success!

Happy Blessed Monday!

Grace (unmerited favor) is a beautiful gift we’re blessed with each day to utilize for ourselves and share with others. As I reflect on the journey through 2025, my heart rejoices in knowing a new level of honor, and divine favor with YHWH and man. This year started out with unpredictable events that ultimately worked together for my good (Romans 8:28). I have been serving in ministry for four and a half decades, and two and half decades in education, which empowers me to enhance the quality of life of everyone I meet in both spheres of influence with wisdom and love. On the heels of my mother in law and mother’s passing just two months apart, I began studying for my master’s in Global Leadership; a year later I began pursuing another degree from a different school and found my rhythm healing through personal development on another level. By grace, I was blessed with this distinguished high honor the day after my birthday, I am so grateful!

The Apostle Paul admonished believers to press toward the mark of the high calling, by staying focused on the goals God has set through Christ (Philippians3:14), so I will continue on the path to shine light in dark places. Today I received my collegiate academic honor cords, medal and stole for one of my upcoming graduation ceremonies in 2026! Looking ahead, I can’t wait to celebrate with delicious food, dancing, a full band, singing and good surprises.

It’s birthday season!! This time of year is a great opportunity to show gratitude for all the many blessings I’ve received and continue to pour out on others. Celebrating life, love and lessons bring joy and deep reflections of monumental moments shared with loved ones and new associates.

God’s faithfulness is unmatched in every season! A few years ago I invited some of my dearest friends and family to enjoy a delicious meal, laughs and genuine fellowship at one of my favorite restaurants. I’m looking forward to a refreshing treat this year too!

Throughout my journey I have been blessed to meet, sing with and/or open up for incredible artists in their own right. I remember this endearing moment as I prepared to open for the legendary Freddie Jackson. As nervous as I was to accept this invitation this monumental occasion shifted my trajectory to boldly share my gift in every room and make room to meet beautiful people with timeless gifts. His kindness, sense of humor, psaltry voice and artistry are unmatched.

May the Lord bless his family, friends, his colleagues, and all who loved him

Testimony Tuesday

Reflecting on my goals for the last quarter of 2026, I’m grateful for new open doors with bountiful blessings in relationships and resources. This season is full of beautiful surprises connected to a breathtaking harvest of joy. Psalm 126:5-6 reminds me that every tear sown yields a season of bliss! It’s almost birthday season for the October babies in the Redmond family! We are grateful for every blessing, learning curve and pray God will bless us to enjoy the rest of our days!

Tea Time in N.C.

What a blessed time celebrating my dear friend’s 55th birthday! Three decades of gratefulness for God’s grace toward us in every season and a monumental reunion with family and friends from near and far. Some relationships weather the hardest storms proving that love endures all things. Having quality friendships add value in the most beautiful ways. In times like these I’m thankful to travel for joyful moments to celebrate milestones, take pictures and rest too.

With only a few more days before returning to the classroom and classwork for my capstone, I plan to enjoy doing things I love and that love me in return. ❤️💕❤️.

Faith Friday 🙏🏽

El Roi - God Sees

To my sister and brother in the faith,

I am grateful for the grace to serve through teaching the Word, providing pastoral care and upholding one another in prayer. Thank you for choosing to answer the call with grace. May the Father continue calling you into places that require the anointing on your lives to encourage, strengthen, correct and draw people to Jesus the Christ. It’s an honor to walk in step with the Spirit of God as servant leaders for at least two decades together. However, this assignment was really special for each of us and between us. Only God would arrange this divine moment to bless us as we served the people and each other.

Thankful Thursday 🌸🩷🌸

After three days of serving at a power packed prayer retreat through teaching, prayer, praise, worship and fellowship in Pennsylvania, I am reflecting on the ministry of love and the importance of obeying God’s voice (Word) even in times of uncertainty or grief. I have taught on intercessory prayer since 1997, with an impassioned desire to develop my gifts as a multifaceted servant leader in every aspect of life. Although the assignments don’t always include times of refreshing, or peace, I’m grateful to be a part of the Kingdom of God and covered to finish strong. In my experience, I’ve been blessed to share the Gospel to people who receive the Word with an open heart like Mary when the angel pronounced prophetically that she would carry and give birth to Jesus. Also, I’ve seen people mock, reject and/or imply to others (not me) that the word was a lie because they didn’t receive the word only to return with an apology or proof that what was spoken came to pass.

Walking in the Light consistently will help you to focus on the goals with the right attitude no matter what. I am looking forward to the open doors with my name on it. I am looking forward to honorable assignments that include times of refreshing as well. Also, I am looking forward to seeing the goodness of God in this new season of ministry.

- May the second half of 2026 yield good fruit and bountiful blessings.

- May the latter rain in ministry be greater than the former.

- May the prayers in the secret place be answered publicly.
