SEMESTER 1 ! Reflecting on God’s loyalty, intentionality & faithfulness through it all! What a privilege it is to choose to serve our good God — to live with, for, & by His Word among the people He places us next to. Watching His plans unfold through the transitions, ups & downs, & everything in between is truly one of the most beautiful & empowering experiences.My joy comes from the Lord & overflows abundantly! So thankful for the blessings this season brought—especially the people who pour into me & who I get to pour back into! TYJ for Your direction & provision! 🤍🫂Isaiah‬ ‭58‬:‭11‬:Yahweh will always guide you where to go and what to do. He will fill you with refreshment even when you are in a dry, difficult place. It took me forever to post this because honestly, how do you put into words what this studio has meant to me? The memories — filled with joy & frustration, laughter & tears, growth & grace. 15yrs in the same building, but somehow always with new perspectives.The more I danced, the more I learned that God doesn’t call the equipped — He equips the called! & that truth didn’t just show up in combinations or dances… it showed up in people. In friendships. In how He used this place to shape me.Looking back on my time at ESDA, I can’t help but see His hand in it all! In the friends I met. In the obstacles I made it through. In how dance became a world where everything else disappeared — and sometimes felt like the end of the world (like when Olivia said, “We’re working on turns today”). Or the best kind of day — when Mary Bourne came in dancing because Ms. Juli brought her a caramel macchiato and she said, “Let’s do jumps!!” Or when Ms. Juli gave me that look and said, “Mallorie Dru, I have something exciting to tell you.” Or when I hit a triple on the left and Mr. Bobby said, “Good… but better.” Or when a little wrapped around my legs on an off day. Or standing on stage during Aurora’s Court trying not to cry, hoping my girls knew just how much I love them.My heart wasn’t just made for “dance.” It was prepared by God for this place — these people, these moments. Thank you, Jesus, for placing me here and allowing me to be a light!!Senior year was truly such dream come true!! MG & Macie — thank you for the laughs, tears, Albanese gummies & Alanis (ifykyk)! To my amazing teachers — thank you for shaping me far beyond dance. I love each of you more than you’ll ever know. To my dance fam — from the littles to the moms — you mean more to me than I could ever express. Your love & encouragement deserve more than a thank you. Love y’all big time. To my parents — especially my mom: thank you for everything. From car rides to no-bump ponytails to CFA runs, you made it all happen with grace. You were the quiet strength behind it all.
