“The Dying Swan”🦢🩰🪽💗

This piece was a challenge, similar to my life with chronic illness. But for 90 seconds on the Miss Kansas stage I was free from the burden of POTS.

What you didn’t see on stage is the countless times I passed out while preparing for the real thing.

Yet I chose to push through and dance despite my condition, not because it’s easy, but because it inspires others facing similar challenges that you do not have to let a diagnosis define your life. 🤍🤍🤍

Thank you so much to my choreographer Jill Landrith

And a special thank you to @blakelee_22 and the back stage crew for looking after me and putting my health at their top priority, your kindness & support does not go overlooked.

It feels unreal to already be closing this chapter of my life but I have a funny feeling that this is only the beginning of a new journey!

Thank you Arkansas City for the endless support and encouragement. Thank you to all our sponsors who kept us pageant ready all year long.

Big thank you to @quickstitchwichita for the amazing work that was done on my evening gown but also all the love and support.

Thank you to @occasionsbydg for helping me find the perfect gown despite how many I had to try on.

Huge thank you to @jess_chase26 & @misswalnutvalleyorg for giving me these opportunities to serve my community while advocating for a cause that is important to me!

And thank you to everything the Miss Kansas Organization has given me! You have not seen the last of me😉💞

Follow along my pageant journey @malloryramos_pageants !!!

Until next time….

WOW. This has been quite the experience! What started as a
“just for fun” side quest turned into life long memories and friendships on the Miss Kansas stage. Last week I experienced more personal growth than ever before and I’m blessed for everyone who was apart of my experience💞👑 by @mallory_ramos18
