The end of an era…

There will never be enough words to describe my love for this industry and the people in it. I couldn’t ask for a better crew or better livestock to end it all with. There are too many “Thank yous” to name them all but if you’ve ever played a role in my show career THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart! Everyone knows camp as a place to build leadership skills and form lifelong friendships, but this year, God reminded me that it was about so much more than that. The night before camp started, I read Romans 15:6: “so that you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ with one mind and one voice.” Throughout the week, those words stayed on my heart. They reminded me that no matter what happened, my purpose was simply to glorify Him. If I left camp knowing I had pointed even one person closer to Christ and honored Him through the way I loved and served others, then I knew I had fulfilled the purpose He had for me.

Over the past three years, I’ve had the privilege of leading seven small groups and walking alongside 83 incredible students. They are a constant reminder of my “why” and a huge part of the reason I am who I am today. Every year, I leave camp with my cup overflowing, filled with love and gratitude. No matter how many times I try, I’ll never be able to find the words to fully express what this place and these people mean to me🤟🏼
