Before the Ocarina of Time remake was announced I didn't expect much for Zelda's 40th anniversary so I had to work something up. The milk bottle item has always been one of my favorite so made up a chart for the label. It's probably my most favorite thing I've made to date as it's such a great mashup of my two favorite things(zelda/gaming and fibercrafts) ❤️🐮. Rohan has been on a horror game kick the last few months so have worked up a few related things. We've been playing #poppyplaytime and #gartenofbanban together; not usually my thing but I've grown to like some of the characters ngl. by @malonb

My current work in progress is a wall hanging I plan to finish up for Mario day(Mar 10) which brings me to the latest finds while trifthing. I plan to fill the mushroom lunchbox with some themed goodies and snacks, and i just couldn't leave behind this cute document portfolio as I'm still a huge Sanrio fan. by @malonb

Last year I started on a top and finally picked it back up again. My knitting/crochet mojo has been pretty minimal this year so far, but I'm pretty excited I'm about 80% done with this. Not sure if the color is coming up right, but this is really a light ice blue color. It's short sleeved and the idea was to make a light layering piece even through the spring. ❄️ by @malonb

First snow of the season and the kid is off to school. Perfect time to open an early xmas gift brought by our elf on the shelf lol. 🎅 Recently found at #Costco by @malonb

Sharing for a good laugh 😅. Rohan and his friends have currently been into the Steal a Brainrot game on Roblox and while I thought it would be cute to make him an elephant (rarest of them all from what I understand) his friends had their own requests once they saw it. Kudos if you recognize these and/or know their names lol. I based most of these off free patterns and freehanded a few details as well as the skeleton guy (Pot Hotspot). by @malonb

Finished the wall hanging and it's finally up! Took me a minute to figure out the whole hanging mechanism but it turned out pretty neat. Also finished up a ghost & pumpkin accessory to hang on the car's rear view mirror. It's my first one too - pretty quick and easy(ie more to come lol). 🎃 by @malonb

It feels like it's been a minute. I've still been crafting here and there, mostly small projects for wintertime. Currently I'm working on this spooky wall hanging, inspired by all the fall/halloween themes we've already seen in stores. It's been a while since I've done this technique (intarsia crochet) which makes this a great refresher from all the knitting. I plan to work on a few more spooky themed items after this, to go along w/ the decor we've already set out 😅🎃 by @malonb

Happy Mario Day! Rohan got out of school early and we picked up a couple of Mario themed items from 5 Below, including this cute mushroom knitting kit that reminded us of Toad 🍄. During the weekend he made a couple of setups at home as well, while I whipped up the gameboy piece to make into a tapestry. 🎮 by @malonb

I'm currently working on a cowl/neck warmer for Rohan. It's been so cold lately he's been wearing mine but they're a little big so thought he could use some his size. There's no pattern, I just casted on 80 stitches and doing 2x2 rib for 6 inches or so. Using yarn I had left over from other projects to get a colorblock effect; his current favorite color is blue so trying to stay on theme. I was trying out this yarn holder I found at @dollartree of all places, and I totally recomend it. While it's small and wouldn't fit a full skein, it's perfect for the partials and scrap yarn I'm working with. I know there's bigger ones out there which I may have to check out sometime. by @malonb

Rohan had recently found where I stored my old(er) video game systems and he has started asking if we could take them all out. Well today was the day. We started off with XBox 360 and a game on Kinect. We also brought out the Wii U, PS2, PS3 and PS4. We opted not to connect the Wii as we misplaced the controllers nor the older Nintendo systems or original PS as I had them stored elsewhere. We don't have the space to have them all out at the same time, at least not in an orderly fashion (it's a mess right now ngl) so I'm thinking of clearing out the cubbies under the TV and leaving out a couple. I'd personally love pulling out the GameCube as well. It's been good rehashing some old memories while appreciating the fact that i can now share them w/ the kiddo ❤ by @malonb
