I was told by two men in the modelling industry that brands don’t want women my age in sportswear.
That stopped me in my tracks, because I love cycling, tennis, hiking, running and gym workouts. Being active isn’t something I’ve aged out of. It’s part of who I am, and I know I’m not alone.
Women do not become less relevant because we get older. We don’t stop being strong, ambitious, active, stylish or motivated. And we certainly don’t stop wanting to see ourselves represented by the brands we buy and wear.
Seeing women of a similar age cycling, running, playing tennis, training and enjoying sport is empowering. It tells us that we belong there too.
We are relevant.
We are valuable.
We are active.
We are consumers.
So let’s champion women at every stage of life-rather than deciding that visibility has an expiry date.
I, for one, have no intention of stopping.

Another birthday. Another reminder that life’s real currency is memories—and the family and friends you make them with 😊

Nature doesn’t judge.
It doesn’t expect.
It doesn’t compete.
It simply lets me be.

That’s why I love it 😊

A wonderful day at Westminster Abbey for the launch of Monarchy and Democracy: A History of Leadership, followed by The London Press Club Summer Party.
A landmark publication by @stjameshouseofficial, featuring an interview with @lara.bloom, President and CEO of the @ehlers.danlos Society 😊

I love an adrenaline rush—Ferraris, helicopters, hiking to summits.
Anything fast, high, or a little wild tends to reset me 😊
What resets you?
