Our relationship started off rocky for so many reasons. Many didn’t want us to date, and many were not okay with it for years. Through the valleys, many didn’t clap for us, and hope we made it. But we made it, baby. More than made it. I love you, always. One year ago today, I lost my job. I was fired.

Today, I can see God’s fingerprints all over that disappointment.

What felt like the end was actually the beginning of something better. We placed my husband’s job opportunity in the Lord’s hands and chose to trust Him, even when it didn’t make sense.

If you’re walking through disappointment today, don’t quit before you see what God is building.

Happy 6th Birthday to my sweet boy, Memphis! 💙

I can’t believe you’re 6. I truly can’t imagine our lives without you. You never fail to make me laugh, you have the biggest heart, and you keep us all entertained with your silly, wild personality.
