L’Appartamento by Artemest — Milan Design Week 2025
Stepping into Palazzo Donizetti for L’Appartamento felt like entering a realm of memory which was reinterpreted with modern and timeless elements. Each of the six rooms, curated by international studios like Champalimaud Design, Meyer Davis, and Simone Haag, revealed a different narrative. The ornate frescoes and marble staircases of the 19th-century palazzo shaped the experience, grounding contemporary design with memory and material. I loved how every detail, from the curated artworks to the subtle lighting, honored Italian craftsmanship while pushing it forward. This exhibition in itself was a beautiful and potent reminder that heritage isn’t static, but rather something we inhabit, reinterpret, and make new again. By far my favorite in MDW’25. #MilanDesignWeek #Artemest #LAppartamento #PalazzoDonizetti #ItalianDesign #Craftsmanship #DesignExhibition #HeritageReimagined #InteriorDesign #DesignJourney by @malud_esigns
