Artists just want to be seen. Whether it’s good or not is up to you. #art #artreveal #painting by @malum.artist

Last year I started this one. It is sat with me and I don’t know what to do with it now. The time will come when it’s clear.

Resilience is a common theme in my work. It’s played such a major role in my life and formed a huge part of who I am. I’m trying to find those who resonate and feel the same❤️

I very nearly didn’t paint this. I had just painted for BMTH and I decided on a whim to paint this for President @downloadfest 2025 and it was where I met @vicky.hungerford for the first time.

This would be the start of meeting some of my heroes and blessed with painting for them. I will always be forever thankful for the doors that have opened as a result and the experiences I have add. I do truly believe that if you want something enough, you keep knocking at that door and eventually someone will answer.

Meet WICK.

Painted within the frame of a standing mirror.

What I see each morning. A human being used as a fuel source, burning until there is nothing left to give. Tenacity and strength of character / of mind is all that resists.

Charlie is absent.

Because this time, you’re standing where he should be.

You are Charlie, viewing life through his empirical lens. Witnessing humanity.
