I couldn't be more grateful that people have enjoyed my work over the past year, it's been cathartic to find myself creatively and create what I'm passionate about, warts and all. I wouldn't be here if not for my amazing friends and this community, so thank you! I've been wanting to challenge myself with bigger projects and more fully realized stories, so this past month I started that process. This is a proof of concept based on my two OCs, Botfly Girl and Maggot Boy. You'll get to know them. I hope to expand from here, so much I want to do. Much more to come! πŸ–€πŸ–€πŸ–€ Song is "On the Street Where You Live" by Vic Damone . . . #darkart #digitalart #horrorart #animationart by @malus.artist

π——π—˜π—”π—§π—› The rotting punchline at the end of it all. His body is a ruined corpse; diseased, stitched open, barely held together for the funeral of mankind. Exposed, weak meat dragging itself forward with a grin behind rotten eyes. His scythe is carved from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, its apples sway from the branches as he gets to work. Between each harvest, he licks the blood from its edge like an addict savoring the work. Wrapped in rags and rusted chains, he does not arrive with dignity. He arrives as the body’s last state of being. The fourth seal is broken. 🍎☠️🩸 . . . #darkart #horrorart #animatedart #fourhorsemen #death by @malus.artist
...and then came π——π—˜π—”π—§π—›. Not as a shadow. Not as a savior. But as a ruined body stitched with a bloody addiction, dragging his scythe carved from the tree of the first sin, grinning behind his rotten eyes. The final horseman has arrived. The fourth seal is broken. πŸͺ¦πŸ©Έ . . . #darkart #horrorart #animatedart #fourhorsemen #death by @malus.artist
π—ͺ𝗔π—₯ War is the monument to violence. His back is the battlefield of centuries of unforgiving conflict. His skull is encased in the reliquary of a rotted saint. A forgotten relic of a forgotten peace. With every breath he exhales swarms of locusts; a fog of war. The second seal is broken. πŸ—‘β˜ οΈπŸ©Έ #war #fourhorsemen #Reliquary #reliquaryart #biohorror #catholic #dread #cataracts #skull #knight #colossal #darkart #gothicart #horrorart #macabreart #darkartists #digitalart #digitalpainting #illustrationart #conceptart #characterdesign #grimart #apocalypticart #surrealdarkart #gothartist #altartist #artofinstagram #artoftheday #artistoninstagram #malus by @malus.artist
π—£π—˜π—¦π—§π—œπ—Ÿπ—˜π—‘π—–π—˜ Pestilence is a walking epidemic. Part plague saint, part biohazard. Her organs are held in with gauze, her arms covered in track marks and hospital bracelets she keeps as trophies of her work. She’s a monument built of outbreaks, overdoses, and suffering. The first of my spin on the four horsemen of the apocalypse. The seal has been broken. πŸ©ΈπŸ’‰ 😈 #pestilence #fourhorsemen #plaguenurse #plaguedoctorart #darkart #disease #gothicart #horrorart #macabreart #darkartists #digitalart #digitalpainting #illustrationart #conceptart #characterdesign #grimart #apocalypticart #surrealdarkart #gothartist #altartist #artofinstagram #artoftheday #artistoninstagram #malus by @malus.artist
