Our Organic Assam CTC is sustainably grown in small tea garden in Assam. This black tea creates a robust, malty base for chai and is classic choice for Masala Chai.

When drinking this tea you’ll get a strong but steady energy boost with out a caffeine crash to help you keep going throughout the day.

Our Organic Masala Spice Blend is the heart of what makes our chai so special. We took our family’s recipe and packaged it in convenient plant based pyramid sachets to make it simple for anyone to make at home.

Packed with organic cardamom, ginger, cinnamon, cloves and a touch of black pepper, using our masala spice sachet ensures you get a perfectly balanced cup of chai each time you make it.

Pair it with one of our organic black teas or use with any of favorite teas you have a home :)

Our organic Nilgiri Black Tea is grown in the Nilgiri Mountain range on the historic Iyerpadi Estate. This broken whole leaf tea provides a softer and more floral base for your chai.

Choose this tea to pair with our Masala Spice Blend when you are looking for a gentler energy boost and a more nuanced cup of chai.

What does breakfast look like at a chai cafe? Hot chai spiced oatmeal, chaat masala smashed avocado toast, and a mango lassi on the side.

Chai isn’t just something we sip. It’s how we cook, too. Swipe through for the full Malwa Chai Cafe menu, from masala chai and matcha chai to coffee, iced tea refreshers, and lassis, with plenty of vegan options marked (v).

Tell us what you’d order first. ☕️ come see us @oceanamkt_pacifica every day from 8am - 3pm!

Matcha was missing something. We think it was chai.

Cold matcha over ice, topped with a slow, thick pour of our chai cold foam. Calm underneath, warm spice on top.

Stir it in or sip through the foam. We won’t tell you how.

It’s new at our counter inside @oceanamkt_pacifica , open 8am to 3pm every day. Come say hi and tell us what you think ☕

You know that person who remembers your order before you say it? That could be you.

We’re hiring a barista for our cafe at Oceana Market, and we’d love for you to be part of it.

The best part? You don’t need to know chai. We’ll teach you. What matters is that you like people, notice the little things, and care for our corner of Oceana like it’s your own.

$19 an hour, a free drink every shift, and we’re hiring for all shifts.
Send us a note at support@malwachai.com or stop by and say hi ☕️

three ingredients. that’s it.

lemon juice, mango, a little agave — no shortcuts, nothing you can’t pronounce. we wanted a drink that tastes like summer without the sugar crash that usually comes with it.

turns out simple is usually the better version anyway.

new at the counter starting Sept. 21 come try it @oceanamkt_pacifica !

what do you eat when you want the comfort of egg salad, minus the eggs?

we smash chickpeas with tahini and dijon, then fold in celery, red onion, capers, pickles, and a good handful of fresh dill. tangy, briny, a little herby — piled onto arugula and spinach, on a slice of @rosalindbakery bread. simple ingredients, done right.

it’s on the counter menu when we open at Oceana Market on september 21st. come try it for yourself. ☕️

most people have never heard of chaat masala — that’s exactly why it’s on this toast.

it’s a spice blend used all over Indian street food: dried mango powder, cumin, black salt, a touch of chili. tangy, salty, a little sour — the perfect partner to creamy avocado. we smash ripe avocado onto @rosalindbakery bread, layer on cucumber and tomato, add a squeeze of lemon, then finish it with a dusting of chaat masala. It’s the perfect light, fresh and satisfying lunch.

it’s on the menu when we open at Oceana Market on september 21st. grab one on your way through, no sitting down required. ☕️
