There’s something really special about finding people you don’t have to shrink yourself around. Last weekend felt like that. New country, a few new faces, yet somehow no pressure to be anything other than exactly who I am. Quirks and all 💁🏼‍♀️

We met some badass women we’ve admired for so long (still not over that), but somehow the best parts were the in-between… the conversations, the giggles, the inside jokes and feeling of being completely at ease with people I’ve known for - realistically - not a whole lot of time. So often we feel the need to mask; to hide aspects of ourselves that we feel are *too much*, and I can’t quite explain how *freeing* it was to ‘let your freak flag fly’ (iykyk) 😆

It was the kind of weekend that makes you realise how good it feels to just be seen. Core memories. Let’s do it again 🚔

Beautiful words as always from @josiebalka 💕

Two days back into the school term and already our house feels so much more in order. 😅

To be entirely honest, I think the kids missed the routine and predictability as much as I did. Everyone just seems a little more settled when we know where we’re meant to be and when.

Anyone else feeling the same? Or are you still mourning the end of slow mornings and nowhere-to-be days? 😂

Anyway… welcome back to Term 4. May the lunchboxes pack themselves (HA!), the uniforms remain vaguely clean and nobody remember a forgotten library bag at 8:27am. 🫡

The @b2cfurniture Myer triple bunk bed in white has been an absolute has changer for my girls! They are obsessed (and so am I)!

Lately, I’ve taken a small step back from sharing.

Life has felt full, balancing work, a house build, motherhood and four little people growing (not so) quietly. Somewhere along the way, I realised I was spending so much time trying to keep up that I was forgetting to simply be *here*.

This moment made me pause. The morning light falling across her, the cat curled beside her… the gentleness that is so naturally hers. I found myself wondering when my little girl began looking so grown up.

Motherhood is strange like that. The days can feel endless, yet the years slip quietly by. Irony at its finest.

More and more, I’m learning to notice the light, to let some things wait, and to be present for the ordinary moments I know I’ll one day wish I could step back inside 🤍 by @mama.and.ava

The sweetest part of growing up? Getting to do it side by side 💕

Shared stories, bunk bed giggles and a built-in best friend. The kind of moments I hope they’ll remember long after they’ve outgrown their childhood bedrooms 🥹
