As we celebrate Black History Month, Let’s Celebrate Black Liberians! I am choosing to celebrating Mrs. Ashley Anne Henderson, she’s a Librarian with The Trotwood Madison City School District at Westbrooke Village. Mrs. Henderson is a true warrior for encouraging her students to read and interpret what they have read. She believes if you can read, you can become anything your heart desires. As I celebrate Veterans Day, I must give honor to two of the greatest veterans that have made Me the Woman I am today. My adopted Father ( John W. White Sr., Army) and My Step Father ( Pastor Napoleon Scott, Navy ) They taught me how to Love and how to be Loved. Watching them protect and provide for our Families was Love at its finest. I am fortunate to have had two great Men in my life that were honest, loyal and kind, this alone was enough for me to understand what a Father or husband means to a family. Wishing My youngest Sister, Doreathea Harold a Heavenly Birthday today. She has been gone for many years, but her memory is with me daily. Patsy ( Pecan Tan ) what she is is called affectionate, I miss your smile, your sweet personality and your kind heart. Today is Father’s Day and I was blessed to have three of the greatest Fathers ever! My Birth Father, Donald Harold, My adopted Father John White and My Stepfather, Napoleon Scott. These three wonderful Men showed me what love feels like, and how to love. They taught me to be kind, honest, genuine and to know and trust God. For that, I am grateful.
