Currently in my book club era 📚🍸✨

This month’s JLSA read was The First Emma, which made getting to tour Hotel Emma and hear the history behind the original 1894 brewhouse even more special.

Something about walking through a place with so much elegance & history makes you stop and think about all the lives and stories that came before us… in another lifetime. 🤎

Feeling extra grateful I found @juniorleaguesa and looking forward to leaning into this new season of life 🍂✨

My sweet Martin passed away this morning. He was following me around the house this morning breathing heavy, I grabbed his tummy and told him it’s ok mommy loves you. He then crawled underneath me as I was putting my shoes on for work and went to doggie heaven.

He lived a wonderful 14 years of life. He traveled with me, moved across multiple states and was the best friend a girl could ever have 💕 I’m so blessed he lived long enough to spend 4 years with Brayden and we were finally able to get him a house with a yard this past year! I’m not sure what I will do without him and a piece of my heart is gone.

Even in his passing we are still laughing a little. Brandon came out of the room and Brayden goes “daddy Martin’s still dead” then proceeds to say “can we get a goat”

I’ll always cherish feeling safe because of him and never being alone. I really believe all dogs go to Heaven and God has a special project for this special pup 💕 I’ll love you always Martin! by @mamacitabates
