Well… we came up 6 votes short for People’s Choice. 😅 So close, but honestly, we couldn’t be more grateful.

From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU to every single person who voted, shared, stopped by, and cheered us on. The love and support means so much more than any trophy ever could. ❤️

A huge shoutout to my amazing wife, my awesome kids, and my @jdm_ronins family for all the late nights, busted knuckles, laughs, and helping bring this build to life. I couldn’t have done it without you all. Also shout out to our sponsors @tuktuks.ut

Congratulations to everyone who competed—you all brought incredible builds!

We’ll take this one on the chin, make a few upgrades, maybe find those missing 6 people… 😂 and come back even stronger.

@importspringshowoff we’ll see you next year. 🫡🏆 @mamadengjerky tint-wrap @la_autowrapz 😎 by @mamadengjerky

As my first full season of real ice fishing here in the place I now call home comes to an end, I can honestly say it was one for the books. The ice fishing this year wasn’t easy by any means — conditions were tough — but we still managed to put some serious fish on the hard deck and make memories that’ll last a lifetime.

What made this season special wasn’t just the fish… it was the people.

I met some of the best folks you could ask to share the ice with and I can safely say I’ve made lifelong friendships. Huge thanks to @lunarsayakhammy the guy who showed me the ropes out here and someone I could never repay for the support he’s shown. And let’s be honest — he’s also got the best deng jerky on the ice.

Shoutout to Antonio with @ghirardelli_outfitters and his awesome family for the hospitality and for putting me on some fish with his baits — hands down some of the best on the market. Along with @douglasspinandcast and @piscifun_official with the best set up in the ice fishing game.
To @tchad13 and @shandon_bradford_outdoors with the @frozenfrenzyicefishing and Jerry and his wonderful wife at KJ’s in Scofield — thank you for everything you do for the fishing community. KJ’s is now carrying some of the best rods on the market, not just for ice but open water too. If you loved the @douglasspinandcast , just wait until you get your hands on their open water lineup.

This season also meant a lot personally. Getting to fish with my father in law on the ice for his very first time is something I’ll never forget. Watching my good buddy @mmrivera86 stick his first big ones, and of course my ride-or-die on the ice, @fairchezzy52 , grinding it out with me all season long. Hate to break it to you though James… you still can’t outfish me.

So with that said… farewell to the 2025–2026 ice season.

Now it’s time to trade the auger for the boat, kayak, or the bank. Let’s keep chasing fish, making memories with friends and family, and most importantly getting the next generation hooked on the outdoors.

Mama Deng’s Jerky

This stuff is so good! If you have not had it, go to their website right now and order some. My favorite flavors are Teriyaki and Brisket. They are so yummy!
