Las Vegas • March 2025
We spent three full days there and it was plenty for the little list we had made. We stayed at the Bellagio and loved the fountain, Chihuly glass sculpture, and the gardens (my fave). We visited the flamingos, ate in n out, went to arcades, visited too many candy stores, and walked the strip each day. Family drove up from Phoenix to visit which was a fun bonus! Not a destination I would have ever chosen, but we had fun! by @mamafoxtalks

This morning Nolan woke up asking to make sub sandwiches and have a picnic at the park. Tuesdays are usually our home days and we didn’t have the bread he wanted. It would have been easy to say no, but he was so excited. After a quick store trip, they did their lessons without complaints and made their own sandwiches. They had the best time playing with their friend while I got time with mine. A reminder to say yes more often. 🫶 by @mamafoxtalks

14 years married to the love of my life, bestest friend, dream man, baby daddy, and forever safe place. This real life we’ve made mostly feels like I’m dreaming. In my vows I mentioned a sense of contentment that cannot be matched. Fourteen years later - fully seen, fully heard, fully accepted, fully loved & adored every single day and counting. Our second year of celebrating the last weekend of summer with our co-op friends on a camping trip. Watching the kiddos make memories with their friends you know they’ll cherish forever is so sweet. The great mystery of the missing ‘hedgehog children’, catching fish and crawdads in the creek, hanging out at the apple tree, s’mores and singing Christmas songs at the campfire 😆 So thankful for this beautiful place we live & the beautiful humans we get to do life with. 🫶 by @mamafoxtalks

As much as 6 & 8 feels like big kids, they’re still just little kids who like to play with toys & run wild with their imaginations.

So glad to have a shelf back in this space (I moved the previous one into the living room) to store and display their toys. $10 at an estate sale! 😍 by @mamafoxtalks

19 years ago today I went to a stranger’s birthday party. A long haired guy wearing bell bottoms named Canyon. By the end of the night we were holding hands. My heart felt safe with him from day one & does still.

I’ll never stop feeling like the luckiest lady in the world to have all my days with you and to have you father our babies. My dream come true every single day. Happiest birthday, my love. 🫶 taken in Clear Lake (Linn County, Oregon) by @mamafoxtalks

The alpacas at @aragon_alpacas are so well loved. It was so fun walking alongside them and learning about them from Ann. Pregnancies last 11.5 months! Almost always only one is born at a time. They naturally give birth before 2 in the afternoon. 🤯 She said they like to sleep in. Same. taken in Aragon Alpacas by @mamafoxtalks

Do they bring joy? Do you feel together and yourself?
Dance and sing with only the lights from the Christmas tree and flashlights. Play old school video games for hours on the eve of Christmas Eve. They don’t have to make sense or be found on a winter checklist. 💛 What tradition do you love? by @mamafoxtalks

Tips for guidance -
🎄have the letters ready that they’ll need to build words for your specific word family!
🎄have realia (real items) to use to help guide them to make words (star, car, jar, etc)

Tips to challenge -
🎄have them create words without that guidance
🎄you can add nonsense letters that won’t build a word
🎄encourage longer words
