A morning filled with connection, conversation, and so much love for motherhood 🤍

Thank you to every mama who joined us for such a wholesome and beautiful morning at @ballantynes_department_store, mingling, connecting, listening to the incredibly talented Kelly from @wellandtrulynourished and celebrating the beautiful @ease.baby collection that is now available to purchase at @ballantynes_department_store

A huge thank you to @ballantynes_department_store and @ease.baby for this special collaboration, and to our wonderful sponsors @odi_nutrition_ , @drinkdaeli , @thenudealchemist, @nothing_naughty and @moffatts_flowers for their support.

To every mama who showed up, shared a conversation, made a new connection, or simply enjoyed a morning for herself, thank you for being part of our @mamamingle.chch village.

Just let that sink in for a second.

I’m not sure everyone truly understands the weight of this.

Everyone’s circumstances are so different. Some of us are lucky enough to have their families just around the corner, others have no family at all to lean on, and some of us live on the other side of the world.

So here is a little reminder to never take the people you love or the little things you have in your life for granted.

Appreciate what you have, be grateful for the moments
you get and always be gentle and kind around others because we’re all living different lives and carrying different weights 🤍

A walk for connection, awareness & change

This November, Mama Mingle is coming together with @barnardosaotearoa for a special White Ribbon Day walk, bringing mamas together like usual, but with an important conversation at the heart of it.

The postpartum period can be a particularly vulnerable time. The signs aren’t always obvious and sometimes the people who need support most are the ones who feel most alone.

This walk is about creating space for awareness, starting conversations that matter, and reminding every mama that she deserves to feel safe, respected and supported in motherhood and beyond.

Wednesday 11th November
9:30am - 10:30am
@monavalekitchenandevents

This is a FREE event but you will need to secure a spot via link in bio, as only a limited amount of goodie bags are available.

And because a little something extra makes our village even sweeter, every mama who attends will receive a FREE goodie bag and a FREE coffee thanks to @barnardosaotearoa

Because every mama deserves to feel safe and supported, and no mama should ever feel alone.

Motherhood is messy… but laundry doesn’t have to be.

I have been absolutely loving using these laundry sheets and stain remover wipes from @sadieessentials

One of my mama friends (@chloe.thomson__ ) was hyping up the stain remover wipes as she had a stain on her wedding dress and one of her friends was carrying one of the @sadieessentials stain remover wipes in her handbag (talking about great timing!) she said they worked so well and I can’t agree more.

Having beautiful, simple laundry essentials that actually make life easier is a little win I’ll take.

My laundry routine, just a little more elevated 🤍🌸

Being a SAHM isn’t something I need to justify.
It’s a life I feel incredibly lucky to live.

I think one thing that can get lost when you see someone as a SAHM is the person behind the scenes making it possible.

I’m incredibly grateful that I get to spend these precious years with Lilly, be there for the little moments, and be so present in her childhood 🤍

October 🤍

Holding a little extra space in my heart this month for all the mamas who have experienced pregnancy loss.

I have so many beautiful friends close to my heart who have walked through this kind of heartbreak, and I know so many carry this grief quietly.

To anyone grieving, please know you are not alone and my inbox is always open for a chat, your grief matters to me.

A cup-filling morning 🤍

A little reminder that mums need filling up too.

This morning was all about slowing down, taking a deep breath and moving our bodies.

There were some honest and raw conversations, beautiful connections and that feeling of being seen.

The kind of morning that leaves your cup a little fuller, your heart a little lighter, and reminds you that you don’t have to do motherhood alone.

So grateful for @alex.ballagh - @therebirth.nz and @venue.105 🤍 by @mamamingle.chch
